Prayer Week (16-22 September 2024)

“…… Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

OM Pakistan celebrated Prayer Week from 16-22 September 2024, embracing the theme of Matthew 9:35-38, which highlights Jesus’ compassion for the lost and His call to pray for more laborers in the harvest field. It was a meaningful time of personal rest, spiritual restoration, and renewed focus on the nations as we sought the Lord of the harvest in prayer. The week ended with a joyful praise and worship session, where many felt a profound transformation.

One sister shared, “I had been waiting for years to hear God’s voice, and this week opened my ears. I can’t explain how happy I am now.”

A brother reflected, “God had been telling me, ‘You speak to Me in prayer but never stop to listen.’ This week gave me the chance to be still and hear His intentions.”

Many also discovered, for the first time, unreached people groups living nearby who are struggling like sheep without a shepherd. We are grateful and hopeful for a fruitful harvest ahead, as we continue to pray for laborers and trust in God’s promise in Revelation 7:9
